Weekly Update - 23.04.21

Hello Pear Tree families,
We have had a fantastic first week back in school. In maths we have been working on halving shapes, objects and amounts. In English we have been looking at the book 'Bringing The Rain To Kapiti Plain'. The children have spent some time predicting what might happen in the story and then describing the main character. We really enjoyed the phrase 'stood on one leg like a big stork bird.'
We have received a few art entries to go to the young artists competition (link below) and I have uploaded some photos of your work below. The deadline for entries is Monday 26th April. Well done to everyone who submitted a piece of art work!
