Equality Policy and Objectives
At Rufford Park Primary School, we are committed to ensuring equality of education and opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers, irrespective of race, gender, disability, belief, religion or socio-economic background. In order to further support pupils, raise standards and ensure inclusive teaching, we have set the following objectives:
- To raise levels of attainment in core subjects for all pupils but with a particular focus upon those that are more able, are making less progress than expected, are vulnerable, are disadvantage, are CLA or who are SEND.
- To raise levels of engagement in extra-curricular activities as well as increasing numbers of pupils who represent the school at sport.
- To further promote cultural and religious understanding through a range of experiences in school and through educational visits.
