Hello!
Week 2 down and wow what a week it has been!
This week we started our 'Nature Sculptures' focus in Art and we made some mini models using clay inspired by British nature and wildlife. Hopefully you spotted them on our windowsill but if not please see the photo below of all our little creations.
We have also been doing some descriptive writing about The Owl Babies, Percy, Sarah and Bill. The children have really impressed me with their use of phonics to spell words independently.
Thank you to everyone who has already starting with lots of home reading; it is great to see all the children so enthusiastic about reading!
Another thanks to those who came to the 'Meet the Teacher' evening on Wednesday and for the many kind words shared about our special visitors this week.
