Hello!
We have had another full week in Pear Tree.
In English we have been writing diamante poems all about African animals. It is really important to follow the structure when writing a diamante poem and the children all did a fantastic job. We had some very brave children share their poem with the whole class.
In PE we really enjoyed playing a fishing game where children had to cast their nets (a hoop) to catch fish (cones) in the lake (the MUGA). We were working on our throwing and retrieving skills. Everyone did a super job and had a great time playing :)
We are all very excited about our trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park next Wednesday 26th! All children received a final letter on Monday with lots of information about what is needed on the day so please take a look at this.
