Hello!
It has been a lovely busy week in Pear Tree.
In English we have started writing a recount as Lila from our focus text ‘Lila and the Secret of Rain’. I have been very impressed with everyone's work so far!
In PSHE we discussed the importance of good tooth health and why it is so important to look after our teeth. We came up with our top 5 tips for looking after our teeth:
- Brush your teeth in the morning and night
- Use toothpaste
- Brush for 2 minutes (listen to this song to help you - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCio_xVlgQ0&list=RDwCio_xVlgQ0&start_radio=1)
- Try not to have lots of sugary food or drinks
- Visit the dentist 2 times a year (it is free for children under 18)
In Art we looked at the sculptor Eva Rothschild. The children had a go at creating a sculpture inspired by her work using marshmallows and spaghetti.
