Hello!
In Maths we have come to our last week on fractions. Over the past two weeks Year 1 have been focusing on half and quarter of shapes, objects and numbers. We have finished by solving fraction word problems.
Our new focus text is 'Stick Man' and this week we have been sequencing and retelling the story. Some children were very brave and retold the story to the whole class using their story map. We have also made our very own Stick Man! I am sure you will agree that they look fantastic :)
Harry - Beware of the dog! Adeline - Sticking in the family tree
We finished our Cinderella Moving Pictures in DT this week. The children did a great job at making their own mechanisms and helping each other.
