Hello!
Only 1 week left of Spring 1 and we are already half way through the school year!
This week we have been busy writing our instructions for the Fairy Godmother on how to get Cinderella ready for the Royal Ball. Everyone has done a great job with this and we will be writing our final drafts next week
In Maths we finished our work on arrays and moved onto division by sharing and grouping. The children have also been continuing to practise counting in 2's, 5's & 10's and finding doubles of numbers.
In DT the children began designing their own moving picture based on a scene in Cinderella. They had to annotate their plan with which mechanisms they would like to use and what it will do e.g. slider for prince Charming to chase Cinderella out of the palace.
In Science we have been learning about the 5 animal groups and this week it was all about Reptiles! We had a very special visit from Turbo the Tortoise :)
