Hello!
In English we have started our new focus text 'The Emperor of Absurdia' which is about a little boy's extraordinary dreams. The children have been writing character descriptions about the Wardrobe Monster. In Maths we have been looking at fact families and how 3 numbers work together to make 2 addition facts and 2 subtraction facts.
The children have continued to enjoy our Art this week and learning about famous artists. We have been mixing colours with white, this week, to create 'tints'. The children used these tints to create a 'Paul Klee' inspired picture. For our final History lesson about the Great Fire of London the children made a spider diagram of all they could remember about the fire. In pairs they role played a news broadcast about the events of the fire.
