Hello!
We have had a lovely week in Pear Tree.
In English we have written some shape poems about a little red crab. The children have really enjoyed our poetry work and we have spent lots of time listening to different poems. Here is a great website for children's poems: https://childrens.poetryarchive.org/poem/the-seagulls/
In PHSE we met the Pantosaurus who taught us a very important lesson about how to keep ourselves and our bodies safe. The children really enjoyed listening to the song. I would encourage you to share this at home too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lL07JOGU5o
On Thursday we had a prickly visitor in school. As part of our Science unit this term we have been looking at wildlife and how we can help wildlife. A member from the 'Prickly Pigs Hedgehog Rescue' came in to tell us all about hedgehogs and the work they do to care for hedgehogs at the rescue. She even brought a baby hoglet with her called Maisy. She was very cute!
Have a lovely weekend.
