Weekly Update 2.4.26

I can't believe we've reached the end of the spring term; it's gone by so quickly and the children have learnt so much!
This week we have enjoyed writing a list poem about a topic of our choosing. There were lots of poems about spring and Easter and a few about Murgatroyds and the park. In maths we have finished off our unit of work about turns and have also recapped some addition and subtraction.
We have also enjoyed recording our cornflowers' progress in our plant diaries (this has certainly been a highlight of this half term!).
In music the children have enjoyed exploring different percussion instruments to create a piece of music inspired by 'The Carnival of the Animals'.
Have a wonderful Easter and I hope all the children enjoy a well-deserved break. We don't send homework out over holidays, but keep on reading lots at home!
