Lime Tree Class has amazed me with how hard they've worked this week.
In English we've looked at list poetry and the children wrote their own list poem about Rufford Park Primary School. They all said that poetry was their favourite kind of writing that we've learnt about so far this year.
In maths we have continued learning about turns and the children have completed lots of practical work to understand whole, half, quarter and three-quarter turns (both clockwise and anti-clockwise!!)
In science we have looked at signs of spring and have discussed how we know that spring is on the way.
Elsewhere in the curriculum we enjoyed watching the Wizard of Oz dress rehearsal on Monday afternoon and we also listened to some songs from the Wizard of Oz in class. We have also planned a project in computing using Scratch Jr.
Enjoy the weekend and there's only 4 days left of school before the Easter holidays!
