Weekly Update 13.3.26

In maths, we have continued learning about fractions. Year 1 have recapped how to find a quarter and half of quantities. Year 2 have also looked at finding a third and 2/4 being equivalent to 1/2. We have also completed some maths assessments to check the children's progress.
We read "Stick Man" in English and the children have sequenced and retold the story. On Thursday we went looking for sticks and today the children made their own stick men.
In science we sorted and classified animals based on their diet, using a Venn diagram. The children are now very confident at naming different herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.
We have continued learning how to keep ourselves safe in PSHE; the children have learnt what privacy means and can give examples of private and public places.
The children all looked amazing today, wearing what they love!
