Weekly Update 30.1.26

A very cold and rainy week has come to an end.
In maths year 1 have worked hard on understanding the basics of multiplication by counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and making arrays. Year 2 have learnt how to divide by 10s and 5s, as well as how to read block diagrams.
In English we have finished writing our invitations for Cinderella to attend the Prince Chraming's ball. The children have also started learning about instructions. Today we have followed a set of instructions to make a friendship bracelet.
We have also enjoyed creating some wheels in DT as part of our moving picture unit. Elsewhere in the curriculum, the children have learnt when it's appropriate to tell or ask an adult when something is upsetting them. We have also learnt about human and physical features of Yeadon in geography.
