Weekly Update 17.10.25

The highlight of the week was definitely the Great Fire of London workshops which Year 1 participated in on Tuesday and Year 2 completed on Wednesday.
All the children loved building and painting a house or St Paul's Cathedral and then watching them burn in the afternoon!
Elsewhere in the curriculum, the children have enjoyed planning a diary entry as Samuel Pepys in preparation to begin writing on Monday. In maths Year 2 have learnt some of their number bonds to 100 and Year 1 have learnt how to use the part whole model to write addition sums.
Thank you to everyone who attended parent's evening; it was great to get a chance to meet you all properly and share how well all the children are doing at school.
