Weekly Update 18.6.21

Hello everyone,
It's been another busy week in Willow Tree. For Maths, we have moved onto Geometry, specifically looking at turns and angles this week. The children have been working really hard and are now constantly spotting things within the the classroom that have right angles :)
We also continued our music workshop with Mr Jennings, which the children have been loving! Lots of children were confident enough to do a solo on their own as well, which was brilliant to see!
We have been focusing on the sixth chapter of Stig of the Dump this week. The children are really enjoying the story and got the chance to perform another scene together. This time they were portraying Barney and the two thieves who had stolen his gran's jewellery. The children showed lots of confidence and used great expression when reading their dialogue.
