Hello everyone,
It's been another busy week in Willow Tree. We are continuing to read our class novel, Stig of the Dump, which the children are absolutely loving. The children have continued their work on Time, focusing on converting between analogue and digital, converting between 12 hour digital and 24 hour and digital and looking at durations of time. The children have also continued their work on instruction writing and independently written a set of instructions about how to play Octopus Tig.
Willow Tree also had Mr Jennings come in this week for a music lesson. Below are a few videos and images from their first session. The children had a blast!
The children also performed a scene from Stig of the Dump, portraying the three Snarget brothers and Barney. They put so much effort into it and used lots of great expression when performing their scenes.
As part of our big sing performance, Willow Tree will be performing a song that revolves around friendship and being there for each other. We have already started practising the song and the children have been really enjoying it. The link below will take you to the song and will allow you to listen and sing along to the whole song or to practise singing specific sections of the song.

That's all for now :)
Take care,
