Hello,
A very busy first, full week of school!
In English, the children continued to revise aspects of grammar to support their forthcoming story writing.
In maths, the children have been working on place value.
We had a great discussion on chronology as part of our topic work on World War Two. The children are looking forward to their school trip in a couple of weeks.
The class discussed the qualities of being a good friend as part of the PSHE curriculum.
It was lovely to meet parents and grandparents on Wednesday after school when parents/carers had the opportunity to 'Meet the Teacher' and visit classrooms.
We will be sending out homework this week. This should be handed in by Wednesday of each week.
