Ash Tree Automata Animals DT 2023
This term Ash Tree have been creating "Automata Animals" in DT. Our design brief was to create a collection of appealing moving mechanical animal models (automata animals) that will captivate people's interest in endangered animals. Here are some pictures of the process and of our finished products.
Here is a video of one of our models to show how they work and move. We had the choice of a simple design where the whole animal moves or a more complex design which involves just one part of the animal moving, in this case, the parrot's wing!
