Weekly Update 16.7.21

Welcome back!
The children have enjoyed learning in school rather than at home in our penultimate week and we've made up for missed opportunities!
In English, we have started comparing and contrasting the TV series of 'Stig of the Dump' with the book version by Clive King. The children have already made some interesting comparisons!
In Maths, we have been consolidating all of the skills learned this year - we will continue this into next week.
The children enjoyed their 'Beech Bubble Sports Day' on Thursday and performed brilliantly during the 'Big Sing' on Monday. Listen to our song 'Living in the New Stone Age' here.
WELL DONE to all of the children who presented their homework projects - we were all feeling suitably inspired! We had a fantastic range... conservationists, motocross champions, footballers, astronauts and many more!
If your child did not receive their weekly homework, they can download it here. Homework books may stay at home now but the children do need to bring their reading records in next week to be changed before their next class.
