Hello again everybody, Mrs Cahill here!
I firstly wanted to say thank you for such a lovely welcome back - I have certainly missed the children and have had some lovely moments with them this week in the lead up to the holidays. Thank you also for the gifts, cards and general holiday cheer - they are all so very much appreciated.
Assessments - Despite the children being tired this week, I have been impressed with the effort the children put into their assessments. It was a tricky jump from the Y3 papers but the children tried their hardest which is all we can ask!
Party - Mrs Waddilove-Carr planned and delivered our party yesterday and (from what I hear and see from photos) the children had a wonderful time. Thank you Mrs W-C and Miss Sanderson!
Friday Festivities - Today we enjoyed the pantomime (courtesy of the PTA, thank you) and our Christmas dinner IN THE HALL!! We also looked back on what we learnt about the Romans this term. What a wonderful day!
I hope you and your families have a restful, healthy break and we look forward to welcoming the children back in the new year.
