Hello everyone,
It's been another busy week. The children have been performing for their Easter show (Joseph) and have done a brilliant job - it's been so enjoyable to watch :)
In science, we have been continuing our work on electricity, focusing specifically on materials that are conductors and materials that are insulators. The children were tasked with creating their own circuits, making sure every component was working before they started to add different materials into the circuit and identifying whether the material was a conductor or an insulator by seeing if the light bulb turned on or not. The children really enjoyed the practical part of the lesson and also demonstrated good scientific knowledge behind what was happening and why.
The children have also been practising hard for the upcoming Skipping Festival on Monday. Make sure to be at school for 8:25am in your P.E kits, with a water bottle, packed lunch (if you're bringing one) and snack.
