After a shorter, very busy half term pupils in Willow Tree Class have deserved their break next week!
We have started to look at a unit on 'Time' this week and will continue with this after the break. It would be great for pupils to have more time looking at analogue time in their every day life. If there are any chances for this over the holidays it would really help their understanding. So far we have covered telling the time to 5 minute intervals (5 past, 10 past, quarter past) and will be moving on to 1-minute intervals after the holiday.
In English we have completed our first draft of our alternative endings to a story. It will be great to see how they edit and revise these pieces when they come to reading them back after a week off.
