Weekly Update 17.3.23

Hello everyone,
Although it has been another short week, it has been another week of great learning and engagement from the children in Willow Tree Class!
We are continuing to work through our Guided Reading book 'Kidnap in the Caribbean' and we are getting ever closer to finding out who is behind all the mysterious events on board the cruise ship!
In English, we have finished writing our non-chronological reports and have moved onto learning all about limericks with the children coming up with some fantastic rhyming phrases. We have had lots of fun writing these types of poems!
Next week, we will begin to complete our next round of assessments and I am sure the children will try their best in these. I am incredibly proud of the progress they have made this year already.
Homework has been sent home today and is due on on Wednesday. Projects may also be brought in from next Wednesday.
