Good afternoon everyone,
Well, what an exciting week this has been! It has been an absolute pleasure meeting each and every one of the children in Willow Tree Class and I am very excited to see our journey as a team as we advance throughout this academic year. The children have been extraordinary at settling into their new classroom and routines and they have been as equally brilliant at beginning their Year 3 level work. We have spent time getting to know each other and finding out fun and interesting facts about each other and have worked together to create our classroom rules and targets to make sure that Willow Tree remains a welcoming, kind and safe place for our children to learn and grow.
Well done Willow Tree Class!

- ...chose our new Class Story "Gangsta Granny" by David Walliams.
- ...practised logging into the computers and logging into Purple Mash ready to start our new ICT topic.
- ...practised counting in 10s and 100s.
- ...celebrated our Reader of the Week, Special Mention of the Week and our Table Team of the Week.
- ...recapped maths facts and key numeracy skills.
- ...recapped the skills needed for Guided Reading.
- ...were introduced to Bob Marley and the song "Three Little Birds" during our music lesson!
