Home Learning Week 1
Hello Pear Tree Class and parents! I hope you are all well!
Firstly, please remember not to worry too much about doing lots of worksheets everyday. It is beneficial to have structure in the day, especially Reading, Maths and English. After those, if possible, remember to give the children time to bake, to do exercise, to play games with your family, build with lego, make up and write their own stories, paint and draw, and relax with the family. Don't worry too much - we are all doing the best that we can in these strange circumstances.
I have updated (and will keep updating) the 'useful websites' section of this page (to the right on a desktop computer) with lots of links for activities and educational games that the children can use while they are learning at home and please keep reading as much as possible. Remember to keep using the home learning packs; the work in here should take you through to the Easter holidays. In addition, there are lots of links to the right of this page which will take you to educational online games too.
Below are some ideas for learning that can be done in the afternoons, or can be self initiated by the children. I hope that this helps and please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need anything.
