Pear Tree Home Learning 22.6.20
Hello again Pear Tree Class,
I hope you are all well. Did you enjoy learning about Zog? We have enjoyed it in school. We have made some paper mache dragon eggs in class which we need to finish next week. We have taken the opportunity to do lots of arts and crafty activities. We have taken just over a week to make some dream catchers. We worked on them a little bit every day. If you would like to have a go, you just need a paper plate, some wool and a couple of beads or feathers. You can find the instructions on Twinkl.
In class we have been enjoying the Letters and Sounds phonics games and the White Rose Maths work too! We found the sharing and grouping (division) work a little tricky. Did you? It's OK if you did but it would be super if you kept practising using lots of practical resources.
The work for next week is based on the book Room on a Broom. We have given you lots of activities to choose from for your work this week and you can also find some printable activities on the webpage www.roomonthebroom.com.
I have also included a link here for a really interesting Room on the Broom adventure trail at Anglers Country Park in Wakefield. I am hoping to go there for a walk myself at the weekend. I hope it is nice! I have never been before.
I would like to thank everyone who sent me a letter last week or sent me an email with pictures from their home learning. I am so proud of you all working hard at home and I absolutely love seeing what you have been working on.
Keep up the excellent work and take care of yourselves and your family.
Mrs Connolly
