Hello Lime Tree Class
I hope you have all had a nice week and have been following your home learning timetable. It is really important that you get back into a routine and make sure that you are doing some Maths, English and Reading work each day.
Did you manage to find lots of 2D shapes? It is amazing how many regular shapes are outside and inside when you begin to look for them! I also hope you enjoyed listening to the story of Handa’s Surprise. We are going to be looking at that story again next week.
Please make sure that you are still reading every day. There are lots of online books to choose from and I am sure you have lots of your own books at home. If you feel ready for the next colour band then I am happy for you to have a go at reading the next colour from the books online.
I do not want to give you too many websites to look at but the BBC Bitesize Home Learning one is really good so take a look. There are lots of interesting things on there. Look at the list of useful websites on our class homepage or in the Home Learning section (see MORE tab) on the main website.
Have you started your own mini topic about Africa? Remember it can be about anything you like as long as there is a link with Africa.
I hope you all enjoy this week’s home learning. I have tried to make it as interesting and fun as I can. Keep practising your maths, reading and writing skills.
