Dear parents and carers
We have been made aware that Mind Mate Spa have sent out a letter to approximately 2500 families across Leeds who are currently sat on the neurodevelopmental triage waiting list.
The letter explains that Northpoint are taking over the neurodevelopmental triage waiting list and that families need to consent for them to continue to hold their data and triage the referrals. Families are instructed to get in touch with Northpoint if they still require support. If they no longer require support, have accessed an alternative assessment via Right to Choose, or do not respond within the deadline then they will be discharged.
This will potentially result in mass discharge and there is concern that families or those who have moved house (and not informed Mind Mate Spa or their GP of their new address) will be discharged when they might still require a service.
