Year 1 and Year 2 children enjoyed a 'one-off' cross-country event on Thursday afternoon competing against runners from the local primary schools. Four teams of 4 pupils attended the event and the races were as follows: Y1 Girls, Y1 Boys, Y2 Girls and Y2 Boys. Top 3 individual finishers got a special certificate: well done to Max and Adam who came 2nd and 3rd in the Y1 Boys' race and well done to Millie who won the Y2 Girls' race! As a team we finished 3rd overall out of the 5 schools who took part.
It was a successful event and the children represented school brilliantly and should be proud of their achievements. Thank you also to the parents who helped supervise the children at the venue and helped on the long walk there and back.
