Weekly Update - 9.10.26
Posted: Oct 9, 2026 by: Miss Bairstow (d.bairstow) on: Maple Tree Class Blog
Hello,
This week we have been busy writing our evacuee diary entries! Most of us are almost finished and we are looking forward to publishing these next week. Hopefully we will have a display of these up for parents' evening so be sure to look out for our amazing work!
In maths, Miss Bairstow's group have been looking at square and cube numbers, as well as formal methods for multiplication. We also had a visit from Mr White, a maths teacher from Benton Park, on Friday. He delivered a Year 6 into Year 7 style algebra maths lesson to give the children a taste of what is to come next year! Mrs Trotter's group have been practising their rounding skills.
Have a good weekend!
Miss Bairstow
