Hello,
Our highlight of the week was definitely our exciting trip on Wednesday! Year 5 and 6 visited the Worth Valley Railway to spend the day as evacuees and find out what life would've been like for children during WW2. We will be basing our writing for the rest of the half term on this visit and it ties in nicely with our topic work too. More photographs to follow next week!
This afternoon, we received a visit from some members of staff from Benton Park to talk to the children about secondary school and their upcoming open days. The deadline for applying for secondary school places is 31st October if you have not already done so.
