26.04.20 - Home Learning Week 4 (Summer Week 2)
Hello children,
I hope you’ve had a good week and have enjoyed working through week 1 of the summer term. Please click here for next week’s timetable. This is your home learning for week 2.
We have inserted a new column for basic maths skills, as it is super important you continue working on these arithmetic skills. You should be completing one of these tasks each day alongside your daily maths lesson.
As an additional activity, I have included a basic skills maths challenge within this message. You will recognise these from the work we do every week in class. Choose one challenge: 1,2 or 3 and click a number to access the worksheet. I will add the answers to the website next week. This activity does not need to be printed, just write numbers 1 - 25 on a sheet of paper and then keep it for marking next week.
Friday's English lesson requires you to practise the statutory spelling words for Year 5 and 6. If you cannot log in to the spelling app online, you can download Word Walls 5 and 6 here. Taking a look at the Year 6 spellings too would be useful. It would be good for you to get familiar with these in preparation for next year.
Remember to take it day by day and whatever work you can complete is an achievement. Getting out in the sunshine and spending time with family is just as important too and luckily the weather is looking bright for the week.
