Ash Tree Home Learning - 13.7.20

Hello Ash Tree Class,

YEAR 6

Well, we have reached the final week of Year 6. Whilst it is not the normal end to your time at primary school, we are hoping to make your final week of school memorable.

I am looking forward to seeing those of you who I have not seen since March at our Year 6 Leavers' Event on Tuesday. Mrs Trotter and I have arranged a few treats for you and you will be able to collect your reports and catch up with friends you may not have seen for a while. We are also hoping to take one final picture of you all together wearing your fantastic Leavers' Hoodies. Make sure you check the class page for photos next week.

I have attached your final timetable here and your maths worksheets (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and answers (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!

YEAR 5

Ash Tree Year 5's, I am really sad we didn't get the opportunity to all be together again this year! You had all worked so hard from September to March and should be very proud of your efforts. I hope you have been continuing your learning at home over the past 12 weeks and I have attached your final week of home learning. Click here for your timetable, here for the accompanying maths worksheets and here for the answers.

It would be great for you to continue reading and completing some basic maths work over the summer holidays to prepare you for Year 6 in September. Remember - you should know all of your times tables by the end of Year 4 so if there are any you are still struggling with this would be a great thing to practise before beginning Year 6!

On Monday, you have the opportunity to collect your report from school with an adult. Mr Cooke has shared guidance on collecting these – please read this guidance so you know your allocated time slot for collection. Click here to find the guidance on 'Collecting reports and new class information 13 July 2020'. I will be handing these out on the KS2 playground at our allocated time and it would be lovely to see as many of you as possible to say goodbye!

I have loved teaching you this year and if you can't make it on Monday I'm sure I will see you around school in September!

Take care and have a fabulous summer!

Miss Bairstow
