Hello Pear Tree Class,
I hope that you are all well and still being really wonderful for your adults at home. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your super work when we get back to school.
This week's work is looking at symmetry and more than/less than in maths. Symmetry is really for Year 2's but since you have all been doing shape lately, it seems like it would be lovely to take a quick look at symmetry in shape. It is a really nice thing to learn about. I hope you enjoy it! For English we are finishing off our work on Handa's Surprise this week and I am sure you are very familiar with the story by now!
I know that you will all be working hard, but I hope that you are also taking time to relax and enjoy being at home. I have been working at home too and spending some time in the garden when it is sunny.

Parents - I hope that the work is still going well with the children. Some of the children may have enjoyed the new phonics videos and some children may be a little too advanced for the content of the lessons. If those lessons were too basic, it may be beneficial for the children to concentrate on reading and phonics play videos.
