Pear Tree Home Learning 06.07.20

Hello Pear Tree, 

I hope you are all well and had a good week. This week I was delighted to see some of your lovely faces when you visited me for the Keeping In Touch days. It was great to see those of you who were able to come along and have a chat. This week we really enjoyed our work based around The Highway Rat. Our favourite activity was when we made our own cave drawings using oil pastels. If anyone would like to give it a try the video we used for our instructions is here.  Mrs Cahill is also organising a Rufford Park Time Capsule and we have spent some time contributing to this. The poster for this is here if you are interested in taking part. 

For the last two weeks of learning before the summer holidays, we have chosen to follow a sport and health theme. Our English and Topic work will be based around this theme. It also fits in well with the relay event being organised by The Friends of Rufford Park and the virtual sports day we will be doing in school. We will post a link to the virtual sports day events on our website page on Tuesday morning so you can take part at home. I really hope that you enjoy this theme as you can pick any sport you find interesting. In school we are hoping to learn a bit about the women's football team as well as some other sports too!
