Hello Lime Tree Class
I hope you have had a productive week learning from home. It is very important that you have a balance of Maths, English, Topic and some physical activity each day as we would in school.
This week I have been working hard on some new PE lessons for next year that I hope you guys will enjoy! We also had a group video call with me, Mrs Moore and Mrs Connolly earlier in the week and it was nice to catch up and chat about ideas for fun and exciting work for you guys whilst learning at home.
Did you manage to find and make some interesting 3D shapes throughout the week? There are lots of 3D shapes around the house and outside too! I found a cylinder and a cuboid in my cupboard whilst I was cooking my dinner!
I hope you are still enjoying working with the Handa’s Surprise story and I know you will have come up with some fantastic adjectives to describe as you all do this in class! We will be continuing with the story next week as you will see on the timetable below.
For next week I have attached two timetables again, one for our Year 1 pupils and one for Year 2 pupils. The timetable only has 4 days set work next week as Friday would be a bank holiday so I have planned for you to use this time to recap any learning you have enjoyed, play some games with family and also have some creative time. Below I have attached the Year 1 and Year 2 common exception words which are usually on green and purple card on your tables so you can use these to check your spelling in any writing you do or even do a spelling test at home to see how many you know!
Please keep being helpful to your adults and have a good go at the work I have set this week.
