Hello again Apple Classes,
This week the Staff in Reception have been making telephone calls to you all at home. It has been lovely to talk to the grown ups and children in many of your homes and to hear that you are all safe and well. We have enjoyed all your messages on Tapestry as usual, thank you for those!
This week the government announced that schools may be beginning to reopen from the 1st of June, further details will follow from Mr Cooke when he has more information.
Below are some plans and guidance for next week's home learning. The themes for this week are Animals and their young and All about me. We have condensed the English ideas to one page, phonic activities can now be found at the bottom of the Literacy list. We have suggested that you make a scrap book all about yourselves; your favourite foods,activities,books,places to visit,sports etc. We have also added some activities about you as a baby and your family.We hope you will enjoy this!
There are also details of an exciting Science event from Mr Kyriacou called the Great Science Share. It looks great fun with a new theme each week. This next week is space themed - I imagine this will inspire many of our Apple Class children to find out about space and have a go at rocket building!
