This week had gone so quickly!
In English we have continued to use the story of Cinderella to inspire our writing. We have also watched some Disney Cinderella clips. The children have been writing about Cinderella's thoughts and feelings when she finds out that she will actually go to the ball.
In maths we have started our unit of work on Multiplication and Division. We have been making equal groups and learning about what the 'X' sign means. We have been using arrays to solve multiplication number sentences. This week's homework is reinforcement of this work.
In our PSHE lesson this week we have talked about situations that make us feel 'Safe' and 'Unsafe'. The children talked about these situations in a very clear and sensible way.
Next Tuesday we have a Skipping Workshop for all of Year 2. A message has been sent out to remind children and parents that all the year 2's will need to come to school on this day in their PE kit.
