Hi Everyone,
It’s been a busy week in Cedar!
In English, we’ve been brushing up on our knowledge of fronted adverbials, conjunctions, and prepositional phrases. Next week, we’ll be drafting and writing about our exciting trip to Murton Park.
In Maths, we’ve been practising rounding numbers and finished the week learning about Roman numerals.
We are continuing to enjoy reading Thorfinn the Nicest Viking. Please do encourage your child to read as much as possible at home — every bit of practice helps!
As part of our focus on healthy lifestyles, we’d like to remind everyone about our healthy snack policy. We’ll be learning more about diet next half term, but in the meantime, please take note of the message that went out recently:
Just a quick reminder for all pupils — the snack brought in for morning break must be a healthy one. Over the last couple of weeks, there has been an increase in children bringing sweets, crisps, chocolate bars, and biscuits. Pupils will be asked to put these back in their bags and take them home. Thank you for your support with this.
Have a lovely weekend!
