The Final Week! 18.07.25

Hi everyone,
It’s been a busy and exciting term!
It has been a pleasure getting to know the wonderful children in Cedar. They’ve made our time together truly enjoyable.
We’ve now completed our cushion project, and the children are so excited to take them home. They’ve worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of what they’ve achieved—learning how to design and sew their own unique creations from start to finish.
In Maths, we’ve been revisiting key concepts: Year 3 have been consolidating their understanding of fractions, while Year 4 have explored position and direction.
In English, we published our set of instructions on how to sew a cushion. The children have worked hard on this and used their knowledge from the DT lessons to aid their writing.
The homework project was a success! Thank you to all those who came in to support the children - we appreciate your time.
It has been a joy teaching Cedar this term, and we wish all the children the very best as they move into Year 4 and Year 5.
We hope you all have a wonderful summer break, whatever your plans may be.
