Cedar Tree Class, week 8 - 02.05.2025

Hello Everyone,
We enjoyed the sunshine all week and hope you did too.
We began our new unit on art, based on the works of Carl Warner, textile artist Michael Brennand-Wood, and Italian painter Caravaggio. We had fun drawing peppers using charcoal.
In maths, Year 3 worked on fractions and Year 4 continued with decimals. We completed lots of number work on whiteboards and in our books.
In English and Guided Reading, we read Stig of the Dump and The Stone Age Boy. We used the books to plan a diary entry, which we will publish next week.
